Koh Larn

Koh Larn (Koh means island in Thailand) is a small island off the coast of Pattaya, about 2 hours south of Bangkok. There are 2 ways to reach the island. By ferry or by speed boat. Speed boat costs around 1000-2500 baht depending on your bartering ability and takes 10 minutes to reach the island. Ferry will cost 20 baht and take you about 40 minutes.

Koh Larn is made up of jungle and mountainous terrain. It is inhabited by local residents, including monkeys and other wildlife. There are 6 beaches on the island. Each have shops with food, drink, and beach attire available. The preferred method of travel on the island is motorbike. There are also bhat buses available, also known as song-taows.
