Curry Simple

I haven't used any of their products and frankly I'm pretty jealous of their site. It's pretty slick with tons of pics and videos that show a ton of curry recipes. I found this while searching for a homemade green curry paste. I have to go out of town to find a good Asian grocery store, so this site could be a big help.

Check it out, maybe you can find something you need...I'll stay back for now for the simple reason that they make me angry because they built it first.

Cocktail vans have become very popular in Pattaya, Thailand recently. They offer a nice relaxed outside place to hang out with your friends while you sip back a few cocktails...or more.

The average cocktail menu consists of around 100 different drinks. However, not all of the drinks come in the bucket size. That's where you really get the bang for your buck.

A cocktail drink can be quite expensive in the nicer gogos and clubs around town. Some even up to 220 baht (around $6). If you order a bucket cocktail in Pattaya you will be paying on average 230-250 baht. You end up with 4-5 delicious drinks for the price you'd pay for only 1 in a club. This hip van is located on Soi Buakhao.

Dragon Fruit (Pitaya)

Dragon fruit is seen everyday throughout Thailand. Any where there's a fruit vendor on the street, or a market...you'll see this fruit. I've only seen the red and white variety...never seen the yellow in Thailand yet. This fruit is actually native to Mexico and Central/South America, but is now grown in many Southeast Asian countries. Very easy to enjoy, a fruit vendor will slice it for you, or if you buy from a market all you have to do is quarter them and peel back the skin.

Koh Larn

Koh Larn (Koh means island in Thailand) is a small island off the coast of Pattaya, about 2 hours south of Bangkok. There are 2 ways to reach the island. By ferry or by speed boat. Speed boat costs around 1000-2500 baht depending on your bartering ability and takes 10 minutes to reach the island. Ferry will cost 20 baht and take you about 40 minutes.

Koh Larn is made up of jungle and mountainous terrain. It is inhabited by local residents, including monkeys and other wildlife. There are 6 beaches on the island. Each have shops with food, drink, and beach attire available. The preferred method of travel on the island is motorbike. There are also bhat buses available, also known as song-taows.

There is an abundance of activities to take part on while you're on the island. These include

Para sailing
Banana boat rides
Semi-submersible vehicles
Scuba diving
Snorkeling
Motorbike riding
Swimming
Shooting range
Fishing

GoCart track in Pattaya, Thailand. I've been told that these can reach speeds of up to 80 kilometers an hour. They have to be freaking push started by another gocart. I'll catch a better video next time around.

Thai Street Food

If you ever visit Thailand, please do not be afraid to try some food from the street vendors. Hands down the best food in the country for the price.

There's hundreds of choices out there. You can have everything from bugs, to rice, chicken, pig ears, fruit, vegetables, soup, etc.

The best thing though about this cheap and delicious food is that it's extremely healthy for you.
